Paul specializes in the representation of owners of Single Family Rental (SFR) portfolios throughout the United States, multi-family, and land. His current clients include a nationwide Single Family Rental (SFR) Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) and private equity firm, single-family home and multi-family builders, and Class A & B multi-family owners in Texas and Oklahoma. Over the last 15 months, Paul has closed $25M in Single-Family Rental (SFR) portfolios and is currently exclusively marketing over $25M in SFR portfolios nationwide. He has served as a panelist sharing his expertise on Single Family Rental (SFR) portfolio dispositions at conferences hosted by both IMN and Five Star. Paul began his career in real estate in 2006, when he was an Army Officer stationed at Fort Hood and began buying foreclosed SFRs. He continues to manage his portfolio in Dallas and the Fort Hood MSA and has experience with foreclosure and tax lien auctions. He was a Management Associate with Citibank where he was hired after completing his MBA. During the great recession, he worked at the FDIC while getting his MBA and managed 75 loan sales nationwide with book values up to $600M. Paul left the Army as a Captain after serving 27 months in Baghdad, Iraq and was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for his service in Iraq during his second deployment. He has his MBA from the University of Texas at Austin and has an undergraduate degree in finance from CU-Boulder where he attended on an Army ROTC scholarship.
Volunteer work includes: Dallas County Junior Board member for Big Brother Big Sisters (BBBS), working with the Rosedale Group to provide housing assistance to local Veterans, and is a regular donor with Carter Bloodcare.
